Born from
the fire
When the studio where they both taught suddenly closed, Amanda and Matt stepped up in just one month to ensure their beloved practice space wouldn’t be lost to the community.
Phoenix Power Yoga exists to ignite the fire within, empowering every student to transform physically, mentally, and energetically through the power of heat, movement, and mindful intensity. We are a sanctuary for driven individuals seeking more than just fitness -- we deliver transformation. From the sweat to the stillness, we guide you to rise stronger, live bolder, and return to your truest self.
Deeply rooted in the Neptune Beach community, Amanda and Matt understand the unique spirit of their oceanside home. Their mission is simple: to provide a supportive yet challenging environment where every student can discover their own capacity to rise, transform, and thrive.

Why we don’t
use ClassPass
If you’re reading this, you probably noticed we’re not on ClassPass. That’s intentional. We’re not built for explorers. We’re built for people who are ready to commit to their growth.
The Economics
If you book a class through ClassPass that would normally gross us $25, we receive about $4. First-time visitors generate zero revenue while we still cover instructor pay, utilities, and cleaning costs. We refuse to slash our standards to make the economics work, and we won’t charge our committed members more to subsidize casual drop-ins. Our unlimited membership works out to ~$12/class for dedicated practitioners.
Real Community
ClassPass-heavy studios create rooms full of strangers. Real community requires the same people showing up, week after week, with instructors who remember your injuries, your goals, and your circumstances. That can’t happen when the room turns over every class.
Practice Progression
A different instructor every week means conflicting techniques and no continuity. Serious progression demands consistency -- you need a teacher who knows where you’re struggling and where you’re ready to be pushed.
No Credit Math
With ClassPass you’re making financial calculations every time you want to practice -- weighing credits, comparing costs, deciding if a class is “worth it.” An unlimited membership means you just show up. No math, no guilt, no friction.
ClassPass optimizes for variety. We optimize for transformation. You can’t have both.
